North East Grains is a farmer owned agricultural cooperative based in Northumberland with sites at Longhirst and Swarland. We provide a complete grain drying, storage and marketing service to our membership whilst offering a wide range of farmer focused services.

Grain drying, processing and storage

We have over 100,000 tonnes grain storage facilities across our two sites.

Grain Marketing

To guarantee the best prices for our members' grain, we collaborate with several industry partners for trading and marketing purposes.

Livestock Feed

We are Northumberland’s largest feed production facility, producing high quality, local feed for all classes of livestock; cattle, sheep, pigs and dairy rations.

Membership Buying Group

We offer group buying power and a single point of contact for ordering, invoicing and finance to our members for all agricultural inputs.

Member Services

We have BASIS and FACTS qualified Agronomists providing strategic advice and guidance to our members.

Advance Payment Facilities

Available for members’ grain entered into marketing pools.
